I wonder why he didn’t keep the bodies of his villagers.
No stasis magic or item effect?
He is aiming to be a necromancer, it might just be possible to revive them.
It’s possible undead can keep their ego/soul/memories…
Also, if he knows the world is going to be so brutal, why the heck did he postpone learning revive?
Cause it’s probably not easy to level an advanced class like Sage and even if he preserved the bodies of the villagers to rez them later, as a Necromancer, most people would not look upon favorable on that and if he did rez them, their bodies would probably be either a zombie, skeleton or some spirits. Also, his companions might not like it if he does that since for example, if someone close to you died and someone offered to rez them, and they come back looking like a zombie or skeleton would you still see them in the same way you used to? Some people wouldn’t mind but there’s bound to be problems later whether it’s from outsiders or the individuals themselves involved.
